The dainty little Dosoi trotted along through the forest, delicate little hooves making soft clip-clops against the hard earth. It was day time, so she was decked out in her red banner rather than her little copper lanterns. She shook her sky blue coat and bounced along cheerfully. The grass on which she had trodden on held a faint blue glow, not as strong in the day light, but defiantly visible. She paused, and lent on a tree, scratching her shoulder. When she moved away, the trunk was glowing too.

“No need for that.” A soft voice said from behind the white skeletal like mask, she swept a hand over the trunk, and the glow came away on her hand, she sat down on the grass by the tree, and tucked her hands under her fluff. Dosoi-loafing.

Eugo knew he had seen this particular Dosoi around before. he was just sure of it.
She kept making his moss glow at night. It was kind of annoying considering he was a day dwelling Dosoi and the next thing he knew he would be awoken by that glow in his face.
Night should be night. dark. and day should be day. she could leave her light in the day, couldn't she?
Or stick with playing with fireflies for all he cared.

In truth he may be a little over protective of his moss. It was his favourite.
Aside from those yellow flowers.
He shuffled a bit inside the treeline. It was always odd approaching someone else when he really had no voice to speak with.
Well he had a voice. He just hated speaking.

He slowly edges out of the trees. He stood, in Dosoi form, a little under six feet tall at his head. Maybe him a Dosoi on the larger side. But he looked far from threatening. What with the yellow flowers growing about his horns. And the smaller, tiny, pink ones on the ends of his horns.

Isra had been resting her mask chin on her fluff. Almost dosing off, when a shuffle caught her attention, her ears swivelled about and she peered through the dark holes in her mask. She couldn’t see them at first, but then they moved. A big Dosoi. Well nearly all Dosoi were big to her. He was almost perfectly camouflaged moss green fur with a splash of white chest, impressive horns with... stuff. Growing on them twisted around his white masked face.

With no mouth slit. Or decoration. Just eye holes.

She cocked her head to one side and shuffled her butt. Drawing her hooves closer to her belly and tucking her hands deeper into her fluff. Before drawing her head back and down. Tiny fluff was tiny. She wasn’t entirely sure what to do. He was big and quiet. She was tiny and shy. She stared at him awkwardly.

Shuffling her butt again.
New bad habit it seemed.

It was hard to come off as generally annoyed when he realized how.. small... she was. And how... nerveous she seemed.
He glanced around, then to what he could see of himself. He wasn't that intimidating, was he?
He was green, for goodness sake. And... earthy, yes?
but he was big, and she was tiny.

He hadn't realized how small she was, of course. He had only seen her from a distance. But now as he moved to stand in front of her, and found himself looming above her, he realized.
Oh dear.

He shifted back, and settled to sit, looking to the ground. He brushed his fingers over it, letting his favored yellow flowers sprout and bloom there between them.

He came closer. She stayed extremely still. Not like that would help. She was blue. And on green grass. Fail. She peered up at him, bright eyes staring through her mask, her ears had swivelled back and were pressed against his horns. It wasn’t he was scary, just big, and a new mask. New Dosoi and Cana scared her. He backed off a little and sat down, before brushing his fingers over the grass. Yellow flowers flourished where he touched.

A slight ‘ooooo’ escaped her, and she lowered her head a little to look at them. Ears flicking forwards again. They were pretty little things, and looked the same type that was on his horns. “They’re pretty.” She said in her soft little voice, peering up at him again.

He tipped his head a bit, looking down at them. He nodded. Yes, they were pretty.
He could say that because he hadn't made them, he could just make them grow.

They oddly matched the color of the eyes that occasionally flashed into sight behind that mask.
He made a little huffy sound, then, and reached up to pull a bit of still glowing moss from his horn. He set it on the ground, and pointed at it. then he shook his head. Trying to get his point across.

She watched him quietly. He was quiet too. She couldn’t help but wonder why. Then again, she wouldn’t pry, she was too shy to ask. That and she was quiet too, they’d probably end up just having staring contests. That would be awkward. She watched as he pulled off some moss. Which was glowing slightly.

Whoops.

He plopped it down and pointed, before shaking his head. She stared at him blankly for a moment. Then realised what he meant. “Oh gosh sorry.” She mumbled in a rush. She reached over and poked the moss. The glow being sucked off and collecting in her hand. She stared at her hand briefly, and the glow was absorbed, only to make her back spots start glowing faintly. She shuffled again. Glancing up at him from under her mask.

The rest of his horn moss was still glowing...

She gave a slightly awkward cough. Mumbling ‘sorry’ a few times. Before reaching up and giving his horns a slight poke. As soon as his horns were no longer glowing, her hand vanished back into the fluff and she shrank again.

He blinked and tilted his head, letting her to his horns. Just glad to be rid of the glow. It was always there. right in his face.
when he wanted to sleep.
He relaxed when it was gone, replacing that piece of moss on his horn.
He stood up and moved.

He moved beside her, turning around and sitting, then laying down. he mimicked how she was laying. even tucking his neck in and everything. Becoming a bigger fluff ball. Right next to her like that.
Almost like he was playfully teasing her.

He put the moss back on his horn and seemed to relax. She relaxed a little too, she’d have to avoid lighting him up like a Christmas tree next time. That would just be awkward if he had to track her down and eyeball her with yellow eyes again.

He stood up.

She freaked out slightly and tried to be even smaller. Which probably wasn’t even possible.

Then he sat down next to her. And mimicked her. She peered up at him, not quite catching on with what he was doing. She didn’t look like that, did she? That neck position just looked uncomfortable, not to mention awkward. She gave a slight giggle, butt shuffled again, and reached out to give his shoulder a light poke. Leaving a lightly glowing finger print on him, hidden amongst his white speckles.

He swiveled his head a bit to look at where she had poked him, blinking beneath his mask.
Ghads. There she went again. Lighting him up.

He retaliated. He reached out and poked her horn, leaving a curly fern behind as he pulled his hand back to tuck it once again beneath his fluff.
Looking around as if to give the appearance of someone else doing that.
Because any other plant based Dosoi were nearby. at all.

She attempted to twist and look at her horn. The horn moved away of course. However, she amused herself for a moment, bobbing her head up and down watching the fern bounce. Before abruptly making it glow.

She gave a smug smile, hidden behind her mask. Looking up at him eyes glinting in amusement. He was looking around, acting natural. So she promptly left a glowing hand print on him. Tucking her hand away and acting natural too.

Two could play at that game.

He was kind of intrigued by how amused she was with the fern.
And completely not expecting what she did next.

His eyes widened beneath his mask. what an infernal power she had!
Anything she touched could glow. Oh the glow. He swiveled his head again to eye it. then he snorted softly behind his mask.
He ran a finger along the curve of her horn. Leaving bright blue flowers as he went. then tucked it away beneath his fluff once more.
Pleased.

She eyed the flowers from the corner of her eye. They were pretty. She liked them. He seemed rather pleased with what he did. She chuckled slightly, briefly distracted by the fern again. Still smiling she whipped her hand on his shoulder, removing the glow and transferring it to her spots, as well as diminishing the ferns glow.

“I’m Isra.” She said quietly, glancing at him. Having realised that they’d spent the entire time in silence. Not that she was complaining. She wiggled slightly closer to him, rather enjoying his company. He seemed nice enough. Just a little intimidating when he stood up.

She gave a slight puff of breath, and a slight glow swirled in front of them. it spun in the air before drifting to the ground like a glimmering thread.
She liked showing off.
Just a little.

He watched the breath, admittedly a little fascinated when she did these things. He wasn't around other Dosoi /too/ often, and when he was he marveled at the different powers.

but, he could show off, as well.
She asked for his name, after all. So he moved his hand out to spell it out for her.
he just used those little blue flowers she seemed to like so much, to spell his name, Eugo, out on the ground in front of them. With a little bit of a flourish to the writing.

then he looked to her, to gauge her reaction.

She watched him write with those little blue flowers. Clearly showing off as well. “She cocked her head to one side, then the other. “Eugo.” She said slowly, not sure if she was pronouncing it right.
By the fact he was writing, she was guessing he couldn’t speak. Or didn’t like to.

She looked up at him again, a smile under her mask. He was watching her, probably wondering what she thought. She flicked her ears forwards and bobbed her head a little.
She liked it. She was enjoying all these little flowers.

To be honest. She was curious as to what else he could do.

His ears perked a bit. Pleased she had liked it. He never got to show off, really. The last Dosoi he'd met was a twisted one. That had been spreading disease through his plants.

He still ached from that fight.
He could do a lot, truth be told. He was nearly four hundred, he was strong and well settled within himself.
He could make whole trees grow at this point.

He just nodded a bit to show she pronounced his name properly. then he tipped his head down, to spell hers in pink flowers. Just for the fun of it.
He'd leave them there, then someone would come across them and be confused as to who 'Isra' and 'Eugo' were.

She gave a gentle ‘heee’ and shuffled her butt again, as her name flourished in pink flowers. She bopped her head again, fern bobbing too. After glancing at Eugo briefly, she added a gentle glow to hers. Nothing amazing. But just to make it... glowie.

She gave a soft cough, before stretching her arms and neck. Sitting a little more normal. And less, fluff ball. She looked to him again and cocked his head to one side as if saying ‘now what?’
She was happy to just sit there. But she did like exploring too.

He tipped his head. then shifted, blinking beneath his mask. He glanced around, then looked back to her.
What? what was she watching him for?
It was almost silly, and sad, how uncomfortable he got under her stare.

He was not a very take charge Dosoi. He was more the leisurely, lay around, then scoot about slowly type. hardly adventurous. He tended to rely on other Dosoi for that. such as Bon.
He looked around, shuffling.

He shuffled too! If he wasn’t careful he’d pick up a habit. She gave up eyeballing him and flopped a little on the ground. She lay there for a moment, chewing her lip and occasionally bopping her head to watch the fern.

And then stood up. Even standing up she only reached the top of his head. Well that was vaguely irritating. She jerked her head in one direction. And flopped her long tail back and forth.
She bounced on the spot slightly, the grass under her feet glowing a little.

He blinked, watching her. Tipping his head left, then right. Curiously. Hm.
He shifted back a bit when she stood. Lords, she was small. Looking her in the eye and he was just laying down still.

Oh. he was getting distracted again, obviously she wanted to go somewhere. He was more than fine with this, shifting to stand, stretching his legs along the ground in front of himself before he rocked back and forth a bit. ready to follow her.
Looking... down. at her.

He stood up.
She went tiny.
Goddamnit.

She could hardly see over his back! She pouted under her mask. She was used to being small but this was just ridiculous. She gave a slight sigh, but started trotting away through the woods. Back from where she originally came.

Where ever she stepped, little glowing foot pints were left on the grass, they lingered for a few moments before fading slowly.

Well, this was shaping up to be quite the unusual day. Eugo was no where to be found, or at least certainly not in their usual places; the areas he'd come to associate with him or his glade, where Bon more often than not greeted him in the mornings. Like he had gone to do this morning before finding him strangely absent, which Bon thought was a good reason to search high and low for him for the next hour or so. He'd ventured out into the various hideaways they'd found, to especially mossy areas of the forest where he assumed his dear Eugo might've been hiding from him, and now he simply wandered about, not too close but not too far from where they usually met.

It was on this only vaguely existent path that he finally spotted him, or rather, them. Thinking very little of this - Bon was an especially friendly sort, and found Eugo having a friend with him today incredibly exciting - he quickly pranced his way up behind, and then quickly beside, them. Bead necklaces jingling, leaves decorating him here and there rustling, not unlike the sound of the tree tops and crispy autumn leaves caught up in a breeze.

"Eugo, I thought you were hiding from me!" He eagerly nuzzled against the side of his neck as best he could with those bulky horns, before peering around him at his little blue friend. "Who is the tiny female?" Perhaps it would've come off as insulting if he didn't sound so unbearably friendly. Which, hopefully, made him slightly less intimidating at his height of six feet tall.

He could hear Bon coming a mile away, and recognize him by his sound now. so as he moved to follow Isra, and admire her little glowing footprints, he had to pause and look up. And back.
Watching Bon approach.

He seemed to relax as Bon got closer, edging up to him. Nuzzling into his fur. Mmh..
Then he looked to Isra. staying silent, as usual. She could explain who she was.

What was that? Heavy footsteps? She turned in time to see a huge male Dosoi, with large antlers and a decorated mask. She did the standing version of loafing. Head down, feet in, tail in.

“Isra.” She squeaked quietly.

She peered up quietly. He seemed friendly, and bouncy, and big. She squeaked slightly and would have ducked behind Eugo, if it wasn’t for the fact he was now closer to the orange guy than to her. Instead she stood there awkwardly.
Like normal.

He eventually settled for, instead of peeking around Eugo, simply resting his head on his. To watch their new little friend. He smiled beneath the shelter of his mask, head tipping slightly in curiosity. "Isra?" He shook his mane of fluff out, resulting in more noise. Bits and pieces of leaves flying about, mostly over Eugo's back, and in his fluff.

"Pleasure to meet you, little Isra. I am Bon." He was doing his best to seem friendlier than usual, so as to avoid scaring her worse than he likely already did. But noting her size probably did not win him any brownie points here.
