Trail of light

Eugo grunted softly. Going blank faced beneath his mask. Feeling the weight of Bon's fat head on him. He shifted, and rolled his shoulders, then looked to Isra.
Bon's fat head was scaring her.
He huffed and rolle dhis shoulder again.

"Off." One word, uttered in a gravelly, masculine, but soft voice.

‘Little’ Isra. She really hoped that wouldn’t become a nickname. “Hullo, Bon.” She said slowly and quietly. Her eyes flicked to Eugo, of so he /could/ talk. Her ears flicked forwards as she peered at him.

She cocked her head to one side, almost getting hit in the mask by the still bobbing fern. Automatically she blinked and jerked her head around to look at the fern. Without much luck. She huffed and proceeded to continue eyeing them.

He didn't even budge at the roll of his shoulders, letting his big fat head remain on Eugo's back until he finally told him to get off. And then, reluctantly, he did. So disappointed he'd lost his lovely fuzzy chin rest. But determined not to let Eugo's reluctance to be used as a head rest ruin his first encounter with this adorably awkward little fluffball.

"I see Eugo has gotten to your horns." He eyed the little fern bobbing up and down beside her head, stepping around Eugo to bat it once. Making it bob more so than it had before. "I'm surprise he didn't just cover you in moss." Considering it was Eugo's favorite thing ever he had expected that more than a fern, and during all this talking he seemed to forget how close he was and that personal space does, in fact, exist. He only really backed off look back over at Eugo. "You could've at least given her one on each horn, so she'd match. Maybe some flowers, to match her coat." He talked more than the both of them combined.

Eugo shook out his coat. shaking out the majority of the leaves Bon had shed on him. He picked one free of his chest fluff, then looked to him. eyeing him. then her.
He moved over to her, and between her and Bon, edging Bon back to give him space.

He eyed Isra's horns, then reached out to put a fern in the same place on her other horn.
then he stepped back. then back again, getting a little behind Bon.
He ran his hand over one of his horns, covering it in moss.

Isra all but fell over backwards as Bon batted at the fern, sending it twirling and bobbing madly. She stumbled and ended up sitting down with a bump and a squeak. “You like talking...” She said quietly. Blinking as Eugo pushed over and produced another fern on her other horn. Not impressed. “I’m not a potted plant.” She said with a pout.

Although when Eugo backed up and mossy-fied Bon’s horn she grinned. Standing up and moving forwards, she reared onto her little hooves and touched his horn. Making the moss glow brightly. She did a weird twist-roll and bounced away a little least he retaliate.

"Two ferns are always better than one." Bon said with a smile, gesturing at either fern. "And now you're symmetrical, little Isra." So it seemed that was going to become a nickname for her, and also that Bon liked the look of a fern on either of her horns. At least until his encouraging it seemed to spur some sort of retaliation from either of them and he found one of his own horns both overgrown in moss and suddenly glowing.

He promptly sat, reaching up for it, attempting in vain to stop the glowing. "Oh, I see how it is. You think you're awfully clever doing this, don't you?" He was, in all honesty, not that annoyed, and found her quick roll back to be hilarious with the size she was. "And shame on you for encouraging Eugo's antagonism." The last thing he needed right now was to be covered in moss. He stood, moving after her, not to play with magic but to simply playfully chase her further.

Eugo grinned beneath his mask as he watched the two of them. He settled to sit once again, just amusing himself with their little chase.
Bon looked like a big scary monster compared to little Isra. With those ungainly horns, and his bright colors.

He tucked his feet under his chest fluff, tilting his head a little, then squinting at the sky to gauge what time it was. He liked at night, when the bright sun was gone and he could take his mask off and air out.

Symmetrical... She liked being symmetrical. That why she has two lanterns at night. Although her armlet threw it off a bit. All those thoughts went out her head as Bon came after her. “Eeeee!” She squealed, scrabbling around and scuttling off, ferns bobbing madly.

She made a sharp turn and promptly left two glowing hand marks on Bon’s side. She giggled and ran off to hide behind Eugo. Loafing into the little cotton ball she was. The whole 'stay still and he can't see me' tactic coming into play.

He was caught off guard by the glowing hand prints, standing out even against his bright coat, and a little disappointed that he couldn't just wipe them off like he'd initially though he might be able to. By the time he'd looked away from them she was already hidden behind Eugo, and though this was fairly obvious he decided to play it up, play along with her a bit.

"Oh, Eugo. Where'd she go?" He feigned frustration. "That little runt ran off! Or maybe she's just hiding." He made his way closer to Eugo. "She's unusually tiny enough that I'll never be able to find her, what with her being so small and everything."

Eugo blinked, watching them once again. It was kind of like watching two pups playing around. He tilted his head, watching them scurry about. then blinked when he was suddenly drawn into it.
he peered at Isra, and then looked to bon. shifting to properly conceal her.

"Vanished." He said.
Simple. one word statements were his friend.

Isra stayed stock still. A daft look on her face, hidden by the mask. He couldn’t see heeer. Although she dare not move to see if he was heading this way. Wait, did he just call her a runt? Oh ho ho, not impressed. She twisted about, so she was peering over Eugo’s back staring up at Bon.

“I’m notta runt.” She said with a slight wine and pout. She gave a fake sniffle and sank behind Eugo’s back again, curling up and pretending to be hurt by the comment.
